Since I found the official Alicante airport web site a bit complicated and not always up to date, this section on the airport and its facilities has been started. In the following we will try to give you quick and simple inside information from my experiences at Alicante airport ( as I am a frequent flyer travelling a lot back and forth to Alicante where we live). As I usually get either picked up (by my wife), take the taxi (at night) or use the bus at the airport – let me give you some hands on bits of advice.
The airport in Alicante is currently the sixth largest airport in Spain. Growing in size continuously over the past years, in March 2011 the airport got a brand new terminal building replacing the old two terminals.
