\"\"This is a special announcement post. It is the kind of article I have been looking forward writing for a long time.<\/p>\n

After months of extensive hours and lots of help from various readers and my friend Gary, we finally got alicante-spain.com<\/a> redesigned and much much better organized.<\/p>\n

Today is the “official launch day” – so while we are still tweaking little things, we really really hope we got it all right and running.<\/p>\n

Some of the new features on the site ( in no particular order…) :<\/strong><\/p>\n

>> Redesigned map pages, with interactive Google maps<\/strong> for you to zoom inside the maps (e.g. Alicante Maps<\/a>, Costa Blanca Maps<\/a> ).
>> New improved video<\/strong> player, displaying videos much faster (e.g. Benidorm video<\/a>)
>> Live weather reports<\/strong> and 7-day weather forecasts<\/strong> for most cities around the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida (e.g weather Alicante<\/a> , weather Benidorm<\/a> , weather Torrevieja<\/a> ,\u00a0 weather Murcia<\/a> ).
>> Faster display of real-time<\/strong> Alicante airport arrival<\/a> and departure <\/a>data.
>> New comments area<\/strong>, enabled on selective pages to give you feedback on certain topics.
>> Integrated Google site search<\/strong>, to allow you to find certain topics much quicker.
>> You can contribute directly<\/strong> sending us your best Costa Blanca travel stories (e.g. about your favourite restaurant<\/a> or what is your favourite Benidorm hotel?<\/a>)
>> … and lots more.<\/p>\n
