Where are the Waterfalls When Going to Guadalest?
ulia has opened the question as to where the waterfalls are when approaching Guadalest? The walled-in mountain town of Guadalest has been one of my favorite places since I got to Alicante.
The surroundings make you feel like you are being hugged by nature and when you get to the town, which still seems to be in medieval times, the enchantment continues as you walk through the winding, cobblestones streets.

But as an added attraction, and wanting to explore the area well, you have to go towards the town called Callosa d’En Sarria to find the waterfalls and water wells which are called the Fuentes del Algar. It’s about 6 kms. from Guadalest and when you get to Callosa, you have take the road towards Bululla. There are signs and once there, there are all kinds of indications to get to them.
