Dear Alicante and Costa Blanca Fan,

first of all a Happy New Year to you from Alicante.

As last year we will this year as well try to keep you posted on the latest about Alicante and the Costa Blanca.

Over the past months we improved our Alicante Spain web site. One area of improvement was our newsletter system, as it turned out that not every subscriber of this newsletter seamed to get one in the past months. So we changed our newsletter software and hopefully this should not happen again.

As far as www.alicante-spain.com is concerned, we added some new areas.

The new section are as follows:

• Information on the new Alicante - Campello electric streetcar which connects downtown Alicante with the beaches of San Juan and el Campello. Please read here further details
  
• A new section with information about cities along the Costa Blanca. Divided into cities like Benidorm, Calpe, Denia, Altea, Javea and Torrevieja. Please find further details here.
  
• As suggested by some of you, I start to build up a photo gallery with pictures of Alicante. To be honest this is the most time consuming task of all. But it needed to be started. So find the first Alicante pictures here

Over the next months (as time permits), I will try to add more news and information at the web site.

I hope you like the improvements we made and make sure that you plan your next Costa Blanca visit early enough.
