We recently got home from staying at the Hotel Rosa in Denia while on vacation and could not wait to brag about it. If you dislike large chain type hotels like me this is the place to go. It has a gorgeous 1970’s Spanish style structure and is family owned and operated. The grounds are well maintained and cozy.
I loved all the handcrafted spanish tile that paved the breezy walkways. Though the outside of Hotel Rosa will make you feel that you have stepped back in time with its relaxing atmosphere, the inside has all spacious rooms with modern amenities. In the mornings I enjoyed doing yoga while breathing in the fresh ocean air on my personal balcony. The hotel Rosa also has a fabulous outdoor swimming pool where you can enjoy a drink, as well as tennis courts if you are so inclined to play. I personally cannot manage to hit the ball.
It took a while until I figured that the beach was a about 200 yards away from the hotel and the middle of town was only a 10 minute walk to enjoy. Beautiful atmosphere, super clean, and best of all the most relaxing vacation I have had in a long time. The family run staff is wonderfully accommodating and was very helpful. When I got cold one night, I got an extra blanket within minutes of calling the front desk! The Rosa hotel has really been a fabulous stay and low prices, which just wants me to go back to Denia as soon as possible.
