Finding a Family Friendly Hotel at the Beach

The other item is I know in one of your emails you talk about some of your favorite hotels in the area do you have any ideas about a place to stay in a more local type setting  on the beach ,smaller hotel/motel  we are a family of five and enjoy the local flavor.Our three teenagers  are looking forward to beach activities as well as enjoying Alicante and the surrounding areas.
