Can you hire golfs clubs around Costa Blanca?

Joy, who is interested in playing golf, has asked if you can hire golf clubs. As far as my investigations go, you can rent out golf clubs at any of the 13 golf courses around Alicante for about 30 euros. You also have the option to rent caddies or carts, too.

All of these golf courses have been designed by the best professionals in this sport so you´ll be playing on greens that have been internationally recognized as first class. Another big advantage of playing golf in and around Benidorm is that the Costa Blanca has one of the best climates, with stable temperatures and lots of .............sun all year round.

Detailed overview on golf courses around the Costa Blanca is here.

With this sport becoming so popular and easily available, not only for avid players but also for those who are starting or just wanting to “ take a swing at it “ during holidays, the Spanish are taking deep pride in making their tourism so much better. While the golfers are off golfing, the rest of the family can do innumerous amount of other activities like water sports, theme parks and excursions to cute little nearby towns.

If you want some variety, slide down the coast and take your swing at the San Juan Golf course with 18 holes. Or head inland and play another 18 holes course looking out towards the mountains in Monforte del Cid. And if your really in a daredevil mood, swing on down to Orihuela to the Campo de golf Villamartin. This green is mountainous and slopy and requires some pretty tricky shots to finish up with a good par. The abundant trees and water traps make it quite interesting. And if you have a few days to spend there, go on over to the Real Club de Golf Campoamor which is considered to be one of the best on the whole Mediterranean. Don´t worry if your group of friends have mixed abilities, the range is apt for all levels. But if you are heading up north, Denia has another course Called Club de Golf La Sella which was designed by José María Olazabal.

So as you can see, just bring along a few “rags” and leave the rest to us.
