Camping Sites around the Costa Blanca

Southern Costa Blanca Camping Grounds from Alicante to Torrevieja

Camping and caravanning is a popular way to visit the Costa Blanca as it’s good value for money and there are many sites located all along the coast that are extremely well equipped and have excellent facilities for adults and children alike to enjoy.

They are often located near the sea of the main areas of town so you are never far from the tourist hotspots if staying on a camp site. Alicante boasts several campsites that all accommodate for caravans as well as of course tents and some even have chalet style bungalows.

Camping Internacional La Marina
is situated in between Alicante and Torrevieja. It has its own website campinglamarina.com which details all of the facilities available and a list of prices throughout the different seasons of the year. Caravans are welcome and residents are able to stay throughout the year. For long stays through winter, residents pay the lower tariff, however this will be increased during the summer high season. The campsite has a wide range of facilities such as 2 swimming pools, one of which is indoor and heated, volley ball, a kids club, tennis courts and other sports facilities, a restaurant and a supermarket. Every need is catered for and of course, being within Alicante itself there is a host of other things to do once you step outside.

Camping Marjal, Guardamar del Segura

Further south in the Costa Blanca is Camping Marjal which can be found in the peaceful area of Guardamar del Segura which is located right next to a beautiful forest of pine and eucalyptus. This entire area is actually a natural park named the Dunes of Guardamar del Segura and not only is made up of the beautiful forest, but also of 20km of sandy beaches.
On the campsite there is a restaurant as well as a bar and social room, a children’s recreation centre, a supermarket, a gym, saunas, sun beds, minigolf, 2 swimming pools (1 indoor, 1 outdoor) and a sports field. The site is open throughout the year so long stays are indeed possible. Electricity becomes an added extra with stays longer than 2 months as is often the case with campsites.

Bahia Camping, Elche
In Elche which is approximately 1km from the coastal town of Santa Pola is a camp site called camping Bahia.It is better to phone for information on +34 965 411 012. There are swimming pools for adults and children as well as a host of other complementary services such as a bar, supermarket and satellite television. They can be reached by coming off the A-7 highway at Junction 72.

Camping in Torrevieja

There are 2 registered campsites in Torrevieja that stay open all year round. On the coastal road between Torrevieja and Village of San Miguel de Salinas is The Florantiles campsite. There is a supermarket, a laundry, a swimming pool, tennis court and a range of other sporting activities to take part in. A little south of the main town and in the direction of Cartagena is home to Camping Campana. Facilities are extensive and include but are not limited to a swimming pool, supermarket, bar, recreation room and a children’s play area. There is also easy access to the beach from this particular camp site.
